Candor Daffodil Festival

CANDOR (WBNG) -- The Candor Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Daffodil Festival will be back for 2021.
It will be held Saturday, May 1 at the Candor Ball Field on Route 96.
The festival was started a few years back to complement the thousands of daffodils planted each year by the Zamoiski family, something that was started by community member Joy Zamoiski that they now continue in her honor.
This year vendor booths will be placed further apart and anyone attending will be required to wear masks and follow COVID-19 guidelines, which organizers say may change by early may.
Chamber president Rita Kellogg says it will be an opportunity for the community to come back together after missing both the Daffodil and Fall festivals last year due to the pandemic.
"It's going to give people the joy of seeing people, talking to people, friendship which is important," she said.
