Blooms in Shakespeare Garden in Central Park, New York City

Central Park Conservancy tells us about this March 8, 2010 image: It was taken in Central Park in New York City. Please credit the Central Park Conservancy in the blog, as it was our staff that took the photo (and planted the flowers!).

The photo caption on flickr says: Daffodils peek through a rustic fence in Shakespeare Garden in Central Park on a warm March morning. Photo by the Central Park Conservancy. Visit www.centralparknyc.org.

Daffodils in New York City

In the Springtime…, originally uploaded by boileraae.

We don’t see many photos of daffodils in NYC, and this is a great capture from March 31, 2009. Photographer boileraae tells us: The photo was taken 3 weeks ago in Central Park, New York City. I believe the body of water is officially known as “The Lake”. I geotag my photos, so check the link on the photo page to see a map of where the photo was taken.
