Photographer kimberly alcibiade tells us about this lovely March 10, 2010 image: The photo was taken at Phipps Conservatory in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh PA. It was the 1st day of this years spring flower show. I am a member of Phipps & it never ceases to amaze me how they transform the place from season to season & show to show. This spring show they will be having the Pittsburgh Opera in from time to time. I encourage anyone near Pittsburgh to visit. There is a large Chihuly glass chandelier and some Frabel glass from past exhibits to see. As for the display, I really do not know much about it …. I do know that it was beautiful.
