Spring Is Sprung, The Daffodils Is Riz, originally uploaded by Pixelblender.
Photographer Pixelblender tells us about this March 12, 2010 image: These daffodils are just outside my front door in Sarnia, Ontario. We’re right at the bottom tip of Lake Huron and so, almost as far south as you can go in Canada. Unfortunately I can’t tell you much about the Daffodils themselves as they are very well established in this location and other than being a basic yellow on yellow species, their actual identity is long lost in the canyons of my mind. Although these were the first of our spring bulbs to emerge on the sunny southern exposure of our home, they have since been joined by numerous others waiting to bloom in the near future.
