Vicky also says this about planning for future seasons: If you keep watering the plants until flowers fade and the leaves wither, the bulbs can be planted in a sunny spot in your garden to bloom again next spring.
I am planning to move to Winnipeg from Sackville, NB. Can one grow daffodils outside in Winnipeg? All the information I have read about suggests that daffodil bulbs are planted near the surface, and I am wondering if the bulbs survive the cold winter temperatures in Manitoba.
