Photographer Dirt Road Cowboy tells us about this February 28, 2010 image: Daffodils at one time must have been the most common “exotic” flower in the South, as they are commonly found around old homesites. I look forward each year to seeking them out. The people are long gone from this place, but the daffodils persist, thrive even. I’m unsure as to the variety, but this was made just outside Pitts, Wilcox County, Georgia. Late February is when they first start appearing…
