This is a cool Skagit photo. Photographer wendyb1214 tells us: This was taken in Mount Vernon, Washington – an area of Washington state known as the Skagit Valley. There are many farms here growing both flowers – daffodils, tulips, and iris – and vegetables. Each spring, the area bursts into colorful bloom, it’s really magical. Unfortunately, i don’t know anything about the daffodils themselves. Oh, and the photo was taken on April 14, 2009.
