Yellow & White Daffodils, originally uploaded by hawgwildterry.
This lovely photograph was taken on April 4, 2009 by photographer hawgwildterry, who tells us: They were taken in Mt. Vernon, Washington along Memorial Highway in Skagit County. This is the time of year for the annual Tulip Festival and the Daffodils are the first to show. The reason for the Tulip Festival is that there is a very large Dutch community that settled the area.
